WINCC Map Control

1. Background
With the growing demand for industry 4.0 and Big Data analytics, a growing number of equipment manufacturers or large manufacturing companies want to centralize equipment or production data scattered across the country into a single data center for trouble-shooting, diagnosis or further data analysis. For WINCC in the data center, how to further display the data on the device or line in the location by clicking on the map displayed on the screen is a very small problem because WINCC itself does not have a map control.

2, HwMap

Hwmap is a map control specifically tailored for WINCC. It embeds maps into the WINCC screen, enabling zooming, zooming, and dragging. Alternatively, you can get the variable values for WINCC displayed on the map. A control can generate marker from a defined site, dynamically display critical data for that site in marker, or by clicking Marker to open the appropriate site screen.
