I recently worked on the Internet SEO to collect Website access and server data. I finally found a satisfactory one-day analysis tool.
We have been using GA to analyze Website access conditions. logparser analyzes all logs as an aid. logparser is too slow and GA does not have server traffic statistics. AWStats is quite powerful, unfortunately, the data export method and some common ones have not been found.
First, let's list a few points with insufficient feelings.
1. Without user path analysis and statistics, it is important to track user paths;
2. No keyword source. The specific pages and sources are unknown;
3. Analysis and tracking of a single IP address is critical to website attacks and analysis;
The configuration process is still relatively smooth, with some troubles in the middle:
1. I have been writing shell for many years, and it takes a lot of time to complete temporary queries;
2. The configuration of multiple subdomains and domain names is really tiring. I hope the new version can provide simple configuration directly. I wrote a shell myself.ProgramAutomatically truncate logs and regularly count the data of the previous day (multiple sites are really tired of one configuration );
The configuration process is generally divided:
Install AWStats
- Write a shell at every morning to compress and truncate logs (I used nginx for load balancing, So I directly counted nginx logs)
- Compile the domain name statistics configuration file
- Analyze and update AWStats data at every day (we found that 4 points of access and spider are at least on my website)
- Configure appache for Web display
In this way, AWStats is basically complete. To meet the unaccustomed views of awstats, many users use jawstats to make friendly display. They still use AWStats for direct display.
Download jawstats, configure and display
Finished
AWStats download jawstats download
The specific process, configuration files, and scripts will be pasted later. It is recommended that the webmasters install them. AWStats is fast and jawstats is a little intolerable.
