PhpMyAdmin installation Configuration
PhpMyAdmin is a MySQL graphical management tool. It is a MySQL client software developed in B/S mode using PHP.
First, let me explain my directory structure:
My MySQL, PHP, and Apache are all under drive D (PHP is under the MyWeb directory and Apache is under the Server Directory)
For example, all the written code files are in the php web directory under the Server. During running, enter "http: // localhost/*** in the address bar of the webpage /***. php "to generate a page for the corresponding file.
The following describes how to install and configure phpMyAdmin:
1, login http://www.phpmyadmin.net, such as, click DownLoad;
The page will pop up automatically, as shown in the dialog box. Save it.
Decompress the package to D: \ Server \ phpweb \.
(That is, the decompressed directory should be the directory where your own PHP file is stored)
Decompress the package and rename the folder phpmyadmin, for example:
3. Open the decompressed folder phpmyadmin, find the config. samole. inc. php file in it, copy and rename it config. inc. php.
4. Open config. inc. php and make the following changes:
$ Cfg ['servers'] [$ I] ['controlhost'] = 'localhost'; // MySQL hostname or IP address
Enter the IP address of the localhost or mysql server. If mysql and phpmyadmin are on the same server, press the default localhost
$ Cfg ['servers'] [$ I] ['controlport'] = ''; // MySQL port-leave blank for default port
Mysql port. If it is 3306 by default, leave it blank.
$ Cfg ['servers'] [$ I] ['controluser'] = 'root'; // MySQL user accessing the mysql user name used by phpmyadmin
$ Cfg ['servers'] [$ I] ['controlpass'] = ''; // password of the mysql user name. Enter your own password here.
$ Cfg ['servers'] [$ I] ['auth _ type'] = 'cooker ';
$ Cfg ['blowfish _ secret'] = 'leosn ';
Note that there will be '//' before some items in the file, and the '//' before these items should be deleted.
Eg: // $ cfg ['servers'] [$ I] ['user'] = 'root ';
// $ Cfg ['servers'] [$ I] ['Password'] = '';
Delete '//'.
5. After completing the above steps, you can try to enter the URL "http: // localhost/phpmyadmin" to check whether it can be logged in. If it can be logged in, the configuration is successful;
If the following problem occurs, continue.
"Cannot start session without errors, please check errors given in your PHP and/or webserver log file and configure your PHP installation properly ."
6. (1) create a folder tmp in the php Directory and set the tmp attribute to all permissions in the users group, for example:
(2) locate the session. save_path line in php. ini and set it to session. save_path = "D:/MyWeb/PHP/tmp" to remove the semicolon;
The save_path must be configured according to your actual situation.
(3) change the value of session. auto_start in php. ini to 1 (start). The default value is 0 (disabled );
Note that there should be no semicolons before these items to be configured, otherwise they will be treated as comments and cannot be executed.
7. After the configuration is complete, enter "http: // localhost/phpmyadmin" in the address bar of the webpage. The effect is as follows:
