1: two ways to handle wrong BMT-MD-6001
After creating a project in the framework, run the metadata Wizard to import data tables from the database connection to the physical layer. The following error is returned:
The environment is as follows: Framework Version: 10.2.0, Cognos version: 10.2.0, Database Type: Oracle 11g r2
Method 1: A friend on the Internet said that it would be nice to change the project query method to compatible, and 10.2.0 is a dynamic query by default. After the following operations, the problem is solved.
Method 2: The following describes how to make the project run in the default dynamic query mode-binggo -------------------------------------- come on!
The method is simple. we modified the link originally created in Cognos connection to add support for dynamic queries and enter Cognos connection to modify the data source cognos_wxj.
Go to set data source Properties
Click a pencil and edit the link string to ensure that the server address, port, and server ID are correct.
After confirmation, we can see that the JDBC link string is added below the original link string.
Test link to ensure compatibility and dynamic test are successful
Return to the Framework running metadata wizard interface and start importing metadata.
2: An error BMT-IMP-0002 also encountered during processing
This error is obviously a permission error.
For the solution, see:
You can log on with the administrator privilege. To reduce unnecessary troubles during development, developers generally assign administrator roles.
