The magazine is a boutique in every issue. I am rated 4 stars in this issue. I think that the more important information and views are the following:
Many technology companies like user feedback, but only a few companies really spend a lot of effort into employee feedback system. Few companies combine the two systems together. But the results show that once a successful combination, a strong feedback loop will be formed, allowing frontline employees to become agents of change and help companies quickly adjust user expectations. #175
Research finds that productivity in America has been declining since the birth of smartphones. #213
According to statistical analysis, the researchers found that most people retire at the age of 65, but the death rate of those who retire after the age of 66 is 11% lower than the former. #450
For example, when a software developer is asked to complete a task in a different two working days, the estimated time difference is 71%. When pathologists evaluated the severity of biopsy results by two times, the correlation between their scores was only 0.61 (ideally 1.0) #520
When any professional judgment produces noise, the algorithm should be considered to replace the artificial decision. But in most cases, this approach is too extreme, or unrealistic. #617
Most of the training did not improve the performance of the Organization, because the staff quickly re-use the original way of doing things. #818
The organizational system that prescribes roles, responsibilities and relationships has a huge impact on individual thinking patterns and behaviours, and this view is supported by a lot of research. #845
The new business model with the potential of new technology and the transformation of the industry has 6 characteristics: 1. Customization, 2. closed loop process; 3. Asset sharing; 4. Based on use pricing; 5. Cooperative ecosystem; 6. Adaptive Organization with agility. The study found that the business model that could change the industry must have more than 3 of the 6 major elements. #1622
In every situation I have observed that people are relying on good quality to rise to high, but the behavior is more and more low. The shift may be staggering. #2185
