How can we correctly transport hard drives?

Next, wrap the driver with the packaging material before adding a multi-layer hardboard, and use the gasket between the layers. Enter the foam in the internal fortress. Do not use soft foam. However, the key lies in the external box. It is bigger and stronger than the drive box. If you want to transport a large number of hard drives, the rules will change. Create a foam slot in the box, let the driver plug in just right, and then plug a large number of drivers, pack them in a suitable large box, and then ship them to your data archiving location.

Labeling is important. Placing a lightweight label or "fragile item" label on the box increases the risk of being quickly rolled out by thieves. On the contrary, a large number of mail order shippers use tagged boxes to transport cheap things.

If data is important, use SSD to avoid the vulnerability of hard drive, make the packaging easier, and use a smaller box. In addition, 2.5 inch SSD is safe to transport using express envelopes.

None of the above solutions are perfect. Because you cannot prevent the operator from handling luggage and packages.
