The SmartScreen filter is a feature in Internet Explorer that helps detect phishing sites. SmartScreen filters can also help you prevent the installation of malicious software, which refers to programs that exhibit illegal, viral, deceptive, and malicious behavior.
Operation Steps:
1, landing Windows 8 Metro interface, click the bottom left corner of the desktop icon, the following figure:
2, into the desktop after running Windows + X key to call up the following interface, select: Control Panel (if the desktop has come up Control Panel icon, double-click directly), the following figure:
3, access to the control Panel, the upper right corner view selection-Large icon, the following figure:
4, click the big icon option, select: Operation Center, the following figure:
5, enter the Operation center, click the top left corner: Change Windows SmartScreen Filter Settings--Do not do anything (turn off Windows SmartScreen Filter)--OK, turn off the SmartScreen feature, as shown below:
6, also can enter the IE advanced option to turn off: Enable SmartScreen filter option, open ie--Tool (menu bar)--internet option, the following figure:
7. Select in Internet Options-Advanced-Remove: Enable the checkbox in front of the SmartScreen filter-Apply
