How does Photoshop make a nice smoke effect?
1, open PS, a new 1600x1200 pixel file. Press Ctrl+delete to fill the background with black, and then create a new layer. Select the brush tool to draw a few strokes on the new layer, as shown in the figure:
2. Perform filter > Blur > Gaussian blur (number of specific, depending on the actual effect of your own picture)
3. Select the Smudge tool inside the PS Toolbox and apply it carefully, as shown in the picture:
4. Perform filters > Distortions > Waves (if the effect is not obvious, we can wave several times until we think we can), as shown in the picture:
5. Perform filters > Other > High Contrast reservations. (The number is specific, depending on the actual effect of your own picture), as shown in the figure:
6. Perform filters > Other > Maximum values. (The number is specific, depending on the actual effect of your own picture), so we can simply create a smoke effect. As shown in the figure:
