Solid-color background gradients in PowerPoint

In PowerPoint 2016, switch to the Design tab, click the Format Background button to the right of the toolbar, and the Set Background formatting pane on the right, select the gradient fill item to set the solid color gradient background for the current slide.

The background gradient in PPT has at least two or more groups of colors. In the controllable variable of a color gradient, the key is "gradient aperture", which determines how many sets of color gradients, the color of the gradient, and the color, position, transparency, and brightness of the gradient are equivalent. The pencil head icon above the aperture, called the stop Point, and the left green "+" button is used to add a stop point, and the Red "X" button is used to remove the stop point.

Add a gradient effect to a background picture

A good solution is to add a layer of gradients to the background picture, both to preserve the picture and to highlight the text. First insert a rectangle, set to the same size as the slide, and just cover the background picture. Then right click on the rectangle, in the right-click menu, the border Select No outline, click "Fill → gradient" and choose a predefined style under "gradient".

When you are sure, you can see that the gradient aperture option appears in the right pane. At this point in the above method to set the gradient, and finally according to the actual effect of the increase in the transparency of the gradient, a picture and highlight the main content of the background effect is completed.

PPT shapes also play gradients

In addition to the color gradient above, there is a shape of the gradient, the production is actually very simple. For simplicity, the small weave is here, switch directly to the Insert tab, select the "Cross Arrow" pattern inserted into the shape, enlarge the size as much as possible, and set the color slightly lighter than the background color.

Next Press CTRL + C to copy the shape, and turn the color set to a lighter, will be scaled down the graphic. And so on, copy multiple identical shapes, lighter colors, less shapes.

The shape is set, all selected, and then switched to the drawing tools-format tab, with horizontal center alignment and vertical center alignment.
