Collects a list of distributed resources in an application
You can use Ibm®rational®asset Analyzer to analyze distributed applications consisting of languages such as Java™,html,javaserver™pages (JSP) and, to a limited extent, C + + and XML. You can also obtain ibm®websphere®application Server configuration information that describes the use of resources for WEB applications.
Start Rational Asset Analyzer
Ibm®rational®asset Analyzer is a WEB application running on a WebSphere application server. When a resource is stored in the following container, a direct analysis can be obtained:
microsoft®windows® file systems and ibm®aix® file systems, which are mapped to Windows by SAMBA and Fastconnect
ibm®rational®clearcase®2003 version of the object base (VOB)
pvcs®6.8.0.0
Ibm®configuration Management Version Control (CMVC) 3.1.1 and CMVC 95
CVS Client 1.11.1.2 (build 41)

Start the software in the following ways:
Open the browser and enter a URL for Rational Asset Analyzer.
Select Start > All Programs > IBM > Rational Asset Analyzer.
If the security settings are active, you must provide a username and password. After you enter your username and password, the browser interface for Rational Asset Analyzer opens (see Figure 1).
You can enter HTTP://<IPADDRESS-MACHINE>/DMH in your Web browser to access Rational Asset Analyzer from other systems on your network. When you access the application in this manner, the central repository in Rational Asset Analyzer can be located on one server, and other members can access the repository from their workstations, even if the rational Asset Analyzer repository is located in a private system That's the way it is.
