How to build a remote video monitoring system

Source: Internet
Author: User

Nowadays, more and more situations need to be applied to remote monitoring,
Here we will give you a small project you just created

First, we will introduce the hardware,

Hikvision DS-7016 video recorder 1
One GB hard drive for the Western data SATA interface
TP-LINK r460 + router 1
Professional peanut shell dynamic Domain Name Service for 1 year
Just a few hundred meters of power cords and video cables.

Step 1
Build your Monitoring System

First, connect the video recorder to the power supply and connect to the vro. Use the default Management address of the hard disk video recorder to set logon management,
For example, http: // 192.168.0.64/
Log on to management. After the control is installed, a logon management interface is displayed,
Enter the default admin account
Password 12345
Port 8000 by default

After logging in, double-click the camera in the left-side camera list,
You can see a monitoring page that proves that the video recorder is working properly locally,
Next, we need to configure the video recorder on the network,
Click the menu on the operation interface to go to the management interface.

The server parameters have several key settings,

One of them is the IP address, which is set to 192.168.0.64 subnet mask 255.255.255.0, the gateway 192.168.0.1

There are two more ports, the most recent

Port 8000
This is the port used for video service transmission,

Http port 80
Enter the port used for access in the browser.

Through the above operations, the settings of the video recorder will come to an end.
Enter http: // 192.168.0.64 in the Intranet to view the monitoring information.

However, what we need to achieve is remote monitoring. What we need to do is that the Internet can also be accessed.

Step 2Set Dynamic DNS for peanut shells

Register a free peanut shell passport and wait for 1 hour (it seems that the database server of the peanut shell has a synchronization problem)
Then log on to the vro (the default Management address is http: // 192.168.0.1 account admin password admin)
In Dynamic DNS, enter the account and password we just registered, enable Dynamic DNS, and click Login.
After successful login, the current passport's peanut shell service level and the domain name that can get the peanut shell Resolution Service will be displayed.
The domain name zengkebing.gicp.net can be bound to our current public IP address, and the dynamic resolution service is ready.

Step 3Set router port ing

Next, we need to map the vro ports.

You need to map the ports 80 and 8000 used by the video recorder to 192.168.0.64 from the vro.

If the IP address and port of your video recorder are not modified, see

Log on to the vro Management Interface (the default Management address is http: // 192.168.0.1 account admin password admin)

Click "forwarding rules"-"virtual server" in the left-side menu"

Enter 80 IP address as the service port number and enter the Intranet IP Address "192.168.0.64" of the video recorder"

Select "all" or "TCP" for the Protocol.

Don't forget to save it. The commonly used service port serves only as a help prompt, so you don't need to set

Similarly, port 8000 of the Video Service of the video recorder is mapped to "192.168.0.64"
After saving, we can see that the mapped port has taken effect and the port ing has been completed,

All the settings of the video server have been completed, and then we can test whether the service can be accessed normally.

Step 4Verify that the service is accessible

Open your browser and enter the dynamic domain name zengkebing.gicp.net in the address bar to press the Enter key,
You will receive the following prompt: You need to install a control from "Hangzhou hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd,
This is what we need to install. Click the prompt and click the left button to install it.

Then we will get a prompt from the browser. We need to click Install to perform video monitoring.

After successfully installing the video control, we can see the expected video recorder login window,
Enter the account admin and password 12345, and log on to port 8000.

After logging in, double-click the camera icon in the list on the left to view the monitoring screen.

Click the button under the monitoring image to switch to a single screen, which is very clear and smooth.

Modify the default account and password of the video recorder and click "Configure.
Then politely modify the user password in the "user permission" option,
Note: The password can only be a pure number (hikvision BT)

For port 80 of the electric envelope
Currently, port 80 is closed for China Telecom ADSL lines in Guangdong, Fujian, Sichuan, and Hunan regions. The http port of the video recorder must be changed to port 81 or port 8080, the router port ing is also changed, and the access mode is changed to http://zengkebing.gicp.net: 81.

For Nat line problems such as tietong, wired communication, and Great Wall broadband
Currently, China only uses China Telecom if Nat is not used. Therefore, we recommend that users in the south select China Telecom ADSL and China North select China Telecom. If you choose some iron and other lines, it is certainly cheap, but it may occur that your monitoring can only be accessed by users who use the same network operator line as yourself, users of China Telecom and China Netcom cannot access it at all (I personally think it is a technical limitation in the monopoly industry to prevent competitors from expanding)

Frequent disconnection due to unstable peanut shells
1.1 monitoring locations one peanut shell dynamic domain name account, people are not so silly, let you buy an account multiple places to use
2. if you are using a TP-LINK router, the connection method set in the Network Parameter-Wan port is connected on demand by default, 15 minutes without traffic will automatically cut off the network, change to automatic connection. Source: http://blog.sina.com.cn/hksqbi
