Open microsoft office excel 2003. Here we need to handle a document about school information. Some school information is found to be duplicated, and the school information is not sorted regularly.
First, to better edit or delete duplicate values after finding duplicate values, sort the school information here. Select the column A to be sorted and click "data" in the menu bar. In the displayed sorting window, retain the default value and click OK. The result is shown in figure 4.
Select the region where you want to find duplicate values. Here, I select all school information from the A2 drop-down list. Click menu bar-format-condition format. The condition Format dialog box is displayed. As shown in the following figure.
Pull the drop-down box of condition 1 (1) on the left side of the condition format window and select the formula. Enter = COUNTIF (A: A, A2)> 1 in the following formula input line (Note: English halfwidth input ).
Move the cursor to the button "format" below ". In the displayed cell format window, set the alternative format for repeated values when = COUNTIF (A: A, A2)> 1 is met. Here, I set the format of repeated values to red. Return to the condition format window and click OK. The final result is shown in the following figure.
