I recently bought a so-called 2 million-pixel camera, did not expect the first use of the problem. The camera connected to the computer, installed after the driver with the software test, the screen effect is not bad. To find Friends video chat, the other side said you can hear my side of the typing sound, but the murmur is very large.
We know that if you want to sync your voice to your video, you must connect the microphone to the sound card and turn on the mic (microphone) channel of the sound card, and the writer doesn't pick up the microphone at all. What the hell is going on? Careful observation of the camera, found that its bottom has a row of mesh holes, originally it has voice function. When chatting, the camera's built-in microphone will open.
Double-click the small speaker on the system taskbar and find that the "microphone" for "volume Control" appears muted. The author this just understand, chat is to use the camera built-in microphone for recording, but because its recording ability without sound card good, so the voice effect is very poor.
Enter the Properties window of the options, found that the sound card default "recording" appears dimmed, the original system forced to close the sound card recording channel, in the "Mixer" pull-down menu select "PC Camera", click "OK" after a "capture" window.
Properties window
The Capture window pops up
In the Capture window, click the Advanced button to check automatic gain control. Again the video test, the noise is relatively small, but not sound. Since the camera's built-in voice function is too bad, the author intends to use sound card recording function, then go to the "Control Panel" sound and Audio Device Properties window, switch to the "audio" page, find the "recording" column, the default device from "PC Camera" to "Soundmax HD Audio I" So that the sound card becomes the recording device for the video.
Check "Automatic Gain control"
Modify Default Device
Note that the system defaults to identifying the voice features built into the camera as a USB sound card, so two sound cards appear in Device Manager. If you are using an HDMI line (connected to a flat-screen TV), it is recommended that you turn off this USB sound card, because many times the system defaults to first identify the USB sound card, which will affect the HDMI line through the audio channel.
However, after you disable the USB sound card in Device Manager, can not use the camera's built-in voice function, in addition to setting the sound card as the default recording device, you must also select "Use only the default device" in Figure 4, otherwise there will be no sound during voice chat.
