How to highlight duplicate values in Excel 2010

If you want to display duplicate values for a range of data in a high brightness, you can use the conditional formatting in Excel 2010 to implement them. The specific method of operation is as follows:

Select the data range, such as the A2:a13 area where the item number is located in the instance.

From the Start tab, select Conditional Formatting and click New Rule.

Select Format only for unique or duplicate values, confirming that repeat is selected, which formats the duplicate values in the selected data range.

Click the "Format" button in the lower-right corner of the upper figure and set the highlight color, such as setting the background fill color to light blue.

Click OK to see three duplicate item numbers, shown in blue. The final effect is shown in the following illustration.
