Toolbars and menu bars disappear for more reasons, either move the toolbar or menu bar because of a mistake, or because the settings file for the Office application is corrupted, so Master Dong suggests you try the following three methods in order to see if you can find the toolbar and menu bar. Before you do so, turn off all Office applications first.
First, open the "C:Program filesmicrosoft OfficeTemplates1033" or "C:documents and settings you login to the Windows system username application Datamicrosofttemplates folder, locate the template file Normal.dot for Word, and change Normal.dot file name to another file name. After Word starts, it rebuilds the Normal.dot because Normal.dot does not exist, restoring Word's initial settings.
Second, empty folder startup. This folder is generally located in the "C:documents and settings you log on to the Windows system username application Datamicrosoftword" directory, to store some word templates or plug-ins, Clearing these files avoids the effect they have on word.
Third, click the Start menu → run command → enter "regedit" and return to open the Registry Editor, right-click "Hkey_current_usersoftwaremicrosoftoffice11.0word", the "Word" Registry entries are deleted, and this entry holds the key values associated with some of the settings in Word 2003 and the registration data for some plug-ins, and restarting Word, word automatically installs the default initial key values when the registry key is deleted.
