How to set a fixed IP address for a CentOS VM in VMWare
Vmware fusion has been used on mac recently, but this problem often occurs. It's just a local area network. The guest OS (ubuntu/Centos) on the virtual machine will disconnect the network and change it to a new IP address, which makes me very annoying, each time you change a LAN, You need to manually reset it to adapt to the new IP address. Later, I finally found a way to fix the Virtual Machine IP address on mac. The local LAN replacement will not affect the IP address of guest OS. I would like to share it with you, I hope you will not be troubled by this problem any more.
The procedure is as follows:
(1) Input # ifconfig in the command line
(2) Right-click the chart in the upper-right corner and select Edit Cinnections.
(3) select Edit.
(4) Select "IPv4 Settings" = "Manual" = ", enter the IP address, and click" Apply.
(5) disconnect the network and try again.
Then connect to different WiFi, And the IP address of the virtual machine will not change.
