How to solve the INS-30131 error when installing Oracle

You need to learn about SDE configuration. The Oracle Database Installation Error INS-30131 does not solve the problem. However, you have found a preliminary idea and recorded it for your reference. The following may be incorrect or inaccurate in understanding a lot of knowledge for your reference only.

Software: Oracle12cR1 version: 12.1.0.2

System: Win10 version: 10.0.10240

Problem description:

When configuring SDE, note that the database server should be consistent with SDE, and the database client should be consistent with ArcMap. Failed to solve the "INS-30131" error when installing the database.

First install the database server and then the client.

The 11gR2 server is being installed, and the second step is to skip the software update and report the INS-30131 error;

The server of 12cR1 can be successfully installed. when the client is installed, the second step is to skip the software update and report the "INS-30131" error.

Select "Skip Software Update (S)" and click "next (N )".

The error "INS-30131" is reported and cannot be solved.

There are two methods for online circulation:

  1. The task manager stops the process remoteexecservice.exe and continues "next (N )".
  2. Control Panel> all control panel items> Management Tools> Computer Management> System Tools> shared folders> right-click share and choose create share to create a shared folder named C $.

Among them, method 2 is widely spread on the Internet, and many people have expressed that the problem was successfully solved.

The error of 11gR2 has not been solved. For 12cR1, the above two methods are tried. Both methods can successfully complete the Client installation.

However, for method 1, an error is reported when the final network service name is configured. Generally, the error "No listener" is reported.

For method 2's own problems (this problem should not be common), the system originally named C $ as a shared folder on drive C.

Right-click the shared folder C $ and choose "C $" from the shortcut menu. (The system will prompt that the shared folder will be restored even when the computer is restarted.) The system will prompt that the shared folder C $ already exists and cannot be created. After the computer is restarted, the original C $ shared folder is automatically restored. To delete the shared folder and prevent it from being restored when the system is restarted, use the following methods:

Open the Registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ services \ LanmanServer \ Parameters

Two shared folders are automatically restored when the computer restarts. They are AutoShareServer and AutoShareWks, which may not exist. If the two do not exist or exist and the value is 1, the default shared folder will be restored after the computer restarts.

Therefore, in order not to allow the default shared folder to be restored, change the value to 0 (if it does not exist, create it and assign a value to 0 ). Then reinstall the client. The installation is successful.

Although the network service name configuration is successful, the newly created C $ folder cannot be maintained. After the computer is restarted, the network service name configuration fails to be tested.

The newly added two registry values are 0, and the new C $ disappears after the computer is restarted. If it is changed to another value, the system displays C $ by default after the computer is restarted ..... Very embarrassing ...... The problem cannot be solved.

Problem Analysis:

After you try to reinstall the system, if you do not install any other software and directly install oracle, the above error still occurs. Therefore, it can be determined that it is a system problem.

In the end, the problem is that the shared folder permission of drive C is insufficient because the original shared folder permission of the system is insufficient. The process of creating a C $ shared folder circulating on the Internet involves selecting permissions, and permissions should be the key to solving the problem.

It involves key processes,

C: \ Users \ esri \ AppData \ Local \ Temp \ oraremservicev2 \ RemoteExecService.exe or

C: \ Users \ esri \ AppData \ Local \ Temp \ oraremservice \ RemoteExecService.exe

As shown in method 1 above, shutting down the process can be smoothly installed. If the process is located in the drive C, the process affects the software installation process. In method 2, C $ is created after the default C $ shared folder is deleted (permissions are set in the process). It is assumed that the default C $ shared folder permission is insufficient, as a result, the process cannot be called to shut down or open it, affecting software installation.

In the second method, after modifying the registry, check the service and find that the Service OracleRemExecServiceV2 (or OracleRemExecService) is no longer in place. It also indicates that the process is faulty.

Can the solution manually enable or disable the process during the installation process. When does this process take effect? Do you need to keep running? They are all problems. You need to continue exploring them later.

The above is the problem encountered when installing the Oracle database in SDE, And the INS-30131 problem cannot be completely solved. Because the SDE configuration can also not install the database client, for Oracle, download the instant client 32-bit decompression, put the file in the bin folder of the ArcGIS Desktop installation directory, and then perform other configuration, this is not a table.

There are two methods mentioned in the document to try (this article has not tried ):

1. A tip for installing oracle11g32 bit! (Win7-32 win8-64 xp and other general)

Step 1: Click Start> Run, enter regedit, and press enter to enter the Registry Editor.

Step 2: locate and click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ System \ Current ControlSet \ Services \ LanmanServer \ Parameters.

Step 3: change the value to 1 if the value of AutoShareServer and AutoShareWks dword in the LanmanServer \ Parameters subitem is set to 0.

It is estimated that many people do not know how to solve the problem ~~ This is the default check of the above two services for oracle11g. The system will turn it off by default, resulting in this error!

2. First share the C drive, and then put the installation package on the C drive for installation. Sometimes you need to put the installation package on the desktop to pass
