How to troubleshoot Win7 hard drive Unable to eject BitLocker decryption window

In the era of Internet rapid development, network security has become a very serious topic. BitLocker in the WINDOWS7 system is powerful enough to protect the hard drive, a lock on the hard drive, and a denial of privacy.

But then the problem came, when we enable BitLocker for the hard drive, the system will reload, or remove the hard drive that contains the BitLocker Drive Encryption or move the hard drive to another computer, there is an unlocked situation, right click on the locked hard drive, choose unlock Drive, no response. How can we solve this problem?

Solving method

1. Click the Start button on the lower left corner of the desktop, click All the programs from the pop-up menu--attachment, find a command prompt, right-click, and run as an administrator. Otherwise, the input instructions will not execute.

2. Pop-up Command Prompt dialog box, enter the following instruction: Manage-bde–unlock E:-recoverypassword, the asterisk represents BitLocker's recovery key instead of the password we set ourselves.

3. When we first enabled the BitLocker function on the hard disk, we would automatically generate a key, open to see, the yellow area below is what I saved at that time. Copy it down and enter it into the command.

4. Command input finished, enter, there will be a successful unlock the English prompts, and then pop-up the image shown in the dialog box, proof has been unlocked.

5. Here is not the end, in order to occur again does not eject the decryption box phenomenon, we need to set up once again BitLocker, as shown in the following figure, and then re-enable the feature.
