Easyshare is a vro software that works with a hub or vswitch to replace a vro for shared broadband Internet access.
Some people say that the current vro is already very cheap, and it is not much less expensive than a hub or vswitch. Just buy one directly. Why bother to buy a hub or vswitch, do I have to install software for configuration? This is good, but what if there is an old hub on hand and it is just a temporary shared broadband access? Like me, I have a hub that has been used for four years but can still be used normally after being brought back from school, and it is only at home during the cold and summer vacations, in this case, you need to share broadband Internet access with another computer at home. If you want to buy more than 100 vrouters for this, it is a waste. There is no difference in experience between using the existing hub and the free vroeasysoftware easyshare and using an actual vro.
According to the experiences of easybench 1.3, the software cannot be used normally due to many accidental factors, but it has been patiently investigated (I do not have the patience to do things at ordinary times, but to save more than 100 yuan ...), Finally, all the problems are solved. The experience is summarized as follows, hoping to help others:
1. preparations before installation: ensure that there are no other dial-up software on the computer, including the "interconnected Star" and the broadband dial-up set by using the Windows Network Connection wizard, if easyshare is not successfully installed, uninstall it and restart the computer;
2. Install easyshare and restart the computer after installation;
3. after restarting the computer, enable easyshare software, click "Internet Settings" in the "system settings" item on the left side of the main software interface, and select "ADSL Broadband" in "Internet access method" on the right side ", select your own network card for "physical network card" (only one option is available for the computer with an upper network card), and set "Default Gateway" to "192.168.0.1" (do not use double quotation marks, this must be set correctly), enter the "ADSL Broadband account" and ADSL account passwords ", and click" Save settings;
4. on the Control Panel, open network connection, right-click local connection, and select Properties ", in the "properties" dialog box, select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" for "General", click "properties", and in the displayed dialog box, select "Use the following IP Address ", set the IP address to "192.168.0.x" (X to 2 ~ 255), set the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0, and the default gateway to 192.168.0.1 (corresponding to the gateway set in step 1, this step must be set correctly ), the DNS service address is set to "202.96.128.86" and "202.96.128.166" (Note: Because I am using Guangdong ADSL, this DNS service address is used. If you are using another ISP, for example, China Netcom and long Kuan need to fill in their DNS Service addresses. I don't know what they are, so I can find them online );
5. click "Start connection" in the "system status" item on the main interface of esayshare to share broadband Internet access. Click "Disconnect" to disconnect from other computers, if other computers are in the "client" status, the system automatically switches to the "server" status to achieve seamless switching.
Note: Steps 3rd and 4th are irrelevant to the sequence. You Can Do steps 4th first and then 3rd. All the computers that want to share bandwidth perform the above operations, however, the X in the IP address "192.168.0.x" set in step 2 must be different for each computer (in step 2 ~ 255). To enable easyshare to automatically run and connect to the instance upon startup, you can select "Windows automatic connection upon startup" in "general settings" on the main interface of the software ", click "Save settings. The minimal interface allows easyshare to run in the background.
