I copied the product because of copying, so copy the more

Personally feel that the Internet product design is a fast iterative process, followed by a continuous plagiarism, plagiarism, and then copied so a large iterative process, the overall view is a spiral upward process. And deciding whether you can be a good designer is conditional on whether you can "copy more". Because of copying, so copy more!

Yes, I am a copy-type Internet product designer.

I do not deny that if a product module I will not design, I will not hesitate to take my competitor's or similar products to plagiarism. Then put the things done to my users to do the test, and finally modify and perfect.

My plagiarism process is probably like this:

1) Seek the same

Get a request for analysis and compare it to the product I've seen in my head, if not, to search. Discover the similarities between the products I'm doing and the products I've used before.

2) The existence of different

Seriously use a product that is connected to the product I am doing now, to see how people react to their products, and to make judgments with my own opinions and knowledge. See what they do best, what they do poorly, and what works for them but not on my product.

For example, Gmail's mail function is very powerful, anti-spam module is also very good, but, analogy this to do e-commerce website mail system, it is definitely not worth the candle.

3) Combination

After studying all the similar features of the product, I will find a home of the non-login prompt to do great, B home for the optimization of the text is very popular, C home information architecture is very cattle break. Then what I need to do is to combine the advantages of a, B and C three, and then copy them separately.

Yes, a complete copy of a product is a low-level plagiarism, but also not serious plagiarism.

4) Optimization

Maybe the idea of a similar product from D is great, but the thing that's done is so rotten that it's very uncomfortable. I would choose to copy his ideas and then optimize them.

For example, before doing e-commerce platform shop system, there is a small station to engage in a "next door shop" little function. However, when you click the "Shop Next Door" button, he simply opens a new page in order for all the stores. I think this idea is too good to break, but this design is too bad. So, I also made a next door shop module, I changed the rules from the current user to browse the store of the same kind of shop randomly opened a display, both to achieve the purpose of the next door and to achieve a user interest.

5) Correction

When these copied things were assembled, my copy of the work came out. It looked like a product in the skin, holding the B product of the knife, walking C product steps, but also more than the D products wearing a hat. But how combat effectiveness is calculated by what my users say.

After the rapid online, through the background traffic monitoring, user feedback, the relevant leadership and so on to know that the assembled guy is a transformer or a lump of mud. At this point you know where the problem is, make a quick decision, and then change it.

In summary, this is my product design iteration theory.

Of course, do not rule out that you are a genius of the product designer, then, if you are a completely just in accordance with the design ideas in their own minds to design without reference to any other people's product designers, please, enjoy the contempt of me, I completely sincerely accept your contempt!

Finally, the end of Picasso's sentence: Good artists copy, great artists Steal--picasso

I copied the product because of copying, so copy the more
