A few days ago, I spent some time with my friends visiting Maxthon in Beijing. The topic is naturally inseparable from Maxthon. One of the successes of Maxthon is "PlugIn". If a software can have hundreds of plug-ins, the foundation of the software will naturally be "thick". Therefore, developing a software system with a plug-in mechanism can be said to be the goal of developers. During the conversation, I vaguely felt that a problem had suddenly become open-minded. When I came back, I began to "modify" Maxthon. The so-called modification was to use the Maxthon plug-in to change Maxthon. after some thought, after a test plug-in is completed, Maxthon becomes the following: (Maxthon extension) The general software plug-in mechanism, generally, they are "sidebar", "toolbar", and "menu". The solution I want to consider is to directly target the "customer zone" of the Software. Allowing developers to expand the customer zone is the focus of consideration, I am more concerned with providing more room for developers. Therefore, the idea of Tangram is naturally a starting point. Because Maxthon extensions have a preliminary improvement, it is natural to consider other environments, such as vc ++. Using similar solutions, the IDE of VC6 becomes: (VC6 IDE extension) these attempts, together with the previous work, a general expansion solution may have basically been formed, that is, software Expansion Solutions for desktop applications, Windows Shell, IE, Office, and other third-party software. My basic idea is to make full use of the flexible and free combination characteristics of Tangram to provide a general integration and expansion solution for conventional software. This solution is far from what I can do by this small team. Therefore, if you are interested, welcome to join this plan.
