I'm not going to say anything that has a graphical interface. This is mainly about how to manually operate ghost for backup and restore. The following screen will appear after the ghost starts: the direct point OK will enter to the second screen, namely the Ghost Main menu, the figure is as follows:

In the main menu, there are the following:

Local: operation on the hard disk on the local computer.

Peer to Peer: Operates on a hard disk on a network computer through a point-to-point mode.

Ghost Cast: Operates on a hard disk on a network computer by unicast/multicast or broadcast.

Option: Use the Ghsot when using some of the options, generally use the default settings.

Help: A succinct aid.

Quit: Exit Ghost.

The main point here is to do the local operation, after selecting local, there will be three options:

Disk: Is the hard drive to the hard disk operation, to have more than one hard disk, such as the first hard disk to copy all the data to the second hard drive. This is less used. Partion: Is the operation on the partition, the system backup and restore are here to operate, check: Check the hard drive. Partitioning has several main operations on partitions:

To partion: Copies the contents of one partition to another partition.

To Image: Copies the contents of one or more partitions into a mirrored file. This operation is selected for general backup systems.

From image: Restores the mirrored file to the partition. When the system is backed up, you can select this operation to restore the system.

Local > Partion >to partion: Partition of the copy to another partition, this will be another partition of data coverage, this should be noted that, like a personal system backup will not use this option. Local > Partion > to Image: This is the system backup, where the backup system operates. Local > Partion > From Image: System Restore, that is, restore the system to the state you are backing up the system. First, the system backup 1, in the main menu select: local > Partion > to Image for the system backup. Will pop up a screen, let you choose that piece of hard disk, if there are more than one hard drive can be selected here, I only have a hard drive, so just point to OK. Figure as follows: The above image is the choice of hard disk. 2, select the partition you want to back up the partition, system backup is definitely to select the system where the partition slightly. Oh ~ ~ ~ as follows:

The image above is to select the partition you want to back up. You can also select multiple partitions, as it is primarily for backup. I just choose one, click OK confirm; 3, the choice of image to save the location of your backup is to save the content to be saved in that disk, I first choose F, note to select a sufficient space to partition, so that the lack of space caused by the backup is not successful.

Select a mirror location to save 4, enter the name of the mirrored file

After the filename is entered, save the point. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If there is not enough space will pop up the following tips: (1) Space is not enough tips: ask you whether to enable compression; Ask you whether to enable compression, no is not to compress; Fast is the general compression, backup time is relatively long; High is the maximum compression, the longest time; (2) Insufficient space hints: whether to store mirrored files on multiple partitions

Lack of space hints (whether to store mirrored files on multiple partitions) (3) warning of insufficient space

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ' 5, choose compression Ratio No is not to compress; Fast is the general compression; High is the maximum compression of it; I choose the biggest high here, who makes my hard drive small. hehe ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ 6, backing up the backup ing ... By 100%, the backup was successful. Two, the system restores 1, chooses local->partion->from image, restores to the partition, the following figure:
2, select the previous backup of the mirror files
Tip: You can make a backup of your mirrored file on the CD to save disk space, restore in the box above to find the location of the image file, you can recover. Note: Some may have multiple partitions in a mirrored file, so you can select partition 3, select the target hard drive
Select the one you want to revert to on that hard drive. 4. Select target Partition
Here is the choice you want to restore to that one partition, generally is the system of the partition, do not first wrong, and the wrong will be the partition of the data cover out, will not cry out ... haha ~ ~ 5, give the prompt information, confirm after the recovery partition
Select Yes to enter the recovery, when finished press the reboot system OK. Q: How to enter the Ghost DOS interface? A: You can install a DOS toolbox, or you can use the Ghost system CD to boot from the CD drive.
