Knowledge Point analysis:
During Lan sharing in Win8 or Win8.1, when accessing folders shared by other computers, the message "You do not have permission to access. Please contact your network administrator to request access permissions" appears frequently; this causes no access to the shared folders on the LAN.
Procedure:
We can solve this problem through the following methods:
1. Find the folder you want to share, right-click it, select Properties, and select the Security tab;
2. Click edit under the Security tab. The edit tab is displayed;
3. Under the group or user name, click Add. The select user and group tab is displayed. Click advanced in the lower left corner to bring up a new tab;
4. Click search now and select everyone from the search results below;
5. Click "OK" and the everyone icon appears under the name of the input object;
6. Click "OK". everyone is displayed under the username combination. Select the permissions you allow in the everyone permission, for example, read, rewrite, read, and write permissions. In general, you can select full control, click OK;
7. At last, you can view that the combined User name under the Security tab already has everyone.
8. Set sharing. Click the Sharing tab and click advanced sharing;
9. Check the share folder check box;
10. Click permissions, select everyone, and set your permissions;
11. Click "OK" and click "OK. Then, the computer in the Lan can access the shared folder. If someone else finds the name of your computer on the network, double-click it to view the folder you shared, and read and write the folder according to the permissions you assigned.
