Install CentOS When prompted an error has occurred. -No valid devices were found
Install Linux in Vmware-server when creating partitions:
An error has occurred. -No valid devices werefound on which to create new file systems "Check your hardware for thecause the This problem."
Workaround:
Select Custom when setting up a virtual machine and select the IDE (default SCSI) when choosing a hard drive because SCSI requires a driver to read the hard drive properly.
Select Custom--> When choosing virtual machine configuration Next---> virtual machine format default--> next----> select the system you want to install (I did not have this in centos,linux, I chose other Linux)---- > Next---> Define the name of the virtual machine and the location of the installation----> Next---> Processor default---> Next----> Set virtual memory----> Next----> Network type Default---> Next---->I/O Adapter Default---> Next-----> Disk default----> Next----> Virtual disk type (this is the key) to select IDE----> Next----> Disk capacity ( Set according to requirements) without selecting the "Allocate all disk space now" and "split disk to 2GB files"----> Next----> Complete
