Install eclipse Jee for Linux on Ubuntu

After JDK is installed, you can install eclipse.

1. First download Eclipse: eclipeclipse-jee-helios-sr2-linux-gtk.tar.gz"

2. decompress the GZIP file:

Gunzip eclipse-jee-helios-SR2-linux-gtk.tar.gz

3. decompress the tar file:

Tar-xvf eclipse-jee-helios-SR2-linux-gtk.tar

4. decompress the package and Run ls-Al to view an eclipse directory. You can directly open the Directory and see the following eclipse file:

./Eclipse

It will run.

5. To facilitate double-clicking on the desktop, write a shell:

Alias eclipse =/home/niewj/APP/Eclipse/eclipseeclipse

The name is eclipse. Sh.

Then add the execution permission:

Chmod 755 eclipse. Sh

Double-click the file to run it.
