1.GCC Introduction
GCC (GNU Compiler Collection) is a powerful, performance-rich programming language compiler, one of the GNU program's representative works. GCC is the most commonly used compiler under the Linux platform, and GCC is formerly the GNU C Compiler, the GNU C language compiler, and its name has gradually become the GNU Compiler Collection as more languages are supported by GCC. The basic usage of GCC is described below.
2.GCC Installation
- First download the mingw4.8.1.7z compiler, you can go online search download, download and then extract to the C disk directory
- Set environment variables, right click on Computer Select Properties, then click Advanced System Settings, click Advanced to have an environment variable
- Add C:\MinGW4.8.1.7z\bin in Path, and remember to add a semicolon if there are other variables in it.
- New Library_path variable, if any, add c:mingw4.8.1.7z\lib to the value, which is the location of the standard library
- Create a new C_includede_path variable with a value of C:\MinGW4.8.1.7z\include
- Test is installed, in cmd input gcc-v, if the version information appears to indicate that the installation was successful
