4. Configuring SNMP

Two. Install the Dell ome steps:
1. Download the Dell OpenManage Essentials installation package for the corresponding server model on the Dell technical support webpage first

2. Understand what operating systems are supported by the OME installation package. I tried Windows Server 2008 system 32-bit direct unsupported, 64-bit installation problem, Windows Server 2012 system 64-bit installation is fine.
3.ome installation package After the download to a folder, I directly extracted to the D-disk ome directory, double-click "Autorun", first install all the dependent packages, and then install ome.
4. Log in to the OME platform after installation is complete.
5. In the "Manage" item, click "Find and Inventory", click "Add Look in", find "hostname" in the "Find scope Configuration" entry, enter the IP or domain name, next, in the "SNMP Configuration" entry we are monitored server-side set SNMP password, for example, Public-password, then next, if the SNMP configuration on Omsa is correct, ome will automatically add Omsa.
6. In the "Manage" item, click "Device", then "Servers", you can see the added successful OMSA server.
