Installing Nomachine (NX) client and server

(1) on Windows
Install Nxclient-3.5.0-9.exe directly

(2) on Linux

Preparing for Linux RPMs

nxclient-3.5.0-7.x86_64.rpm
nxnode-3.5.0-9.x86_64.rpm
nxserver-3.5.0-11.x86_64.rpm

1) First modify the/etc/login.defs file
$ sudo vim/etc/login.defs
Add two lines to the inside.
Sys_gid_min 2000
Sys_gid_max 9000

2)
sudo rpm-ivh nxclient-3.5.0-7.x86_64.rpm

3)
sudo rpm-ivh nxnode-3.5.0-9.x86_64.rpm

4)
sudo rpm-ivh nxserver-3.5.0-11.x86_64.rpm

Once installed, you can connect Linux through NX from your Windows

This would install and automatically start the server.

If at some later-need to stop/start/restart the server, use:
Sudo/etc/init.d/nxserver {Stop|start|restart}
