I. Installation and Use of PMD

(1) Installation of PMD-Online Installation

1. Open eclipse and select help-install new software.

2. In the pop-up install dialog box, select the Add button

3. Fill in the plug-in name: PMD in name, and enter the plug-in address: http://sourceforge.net/projects/pm/files/pmd-eclipse/update-sitein location. Click the okbutton.

4. wait a few seconds for pending to get the plug-in name and version, check the right option, and click Next.

5. Confirm the installation information and click Next. Then, Select accept and click Finish.

6. Wait until the installation is complete and follow the prompts to restart eclipse.

 

(2) usage of PMD

1. In eclipse, open a Java project, right-click the project file name, and select pMD-check code with PMD
