For Windows 8 without a Start menu and other traditional interfaces, resulting in the use of inconvenience problems, Lenovo launched the Classic Start menu tool! Restore the original Windows 7 style on the basis of keeping Windows 8 advanced features.

　　Pre-modification considerations:

If you are sure that you want to retrofit the Windows 8 system that is pre-installed with your notebook as a Windows 7 system, please note the following important points:

1. Since your notebook's Windows 8 system requires the use of the UEFI feature in the BIOS and the GPT partition table, when you convert your system to a Windows 7 system, you need to remove all partitions of a random Windows 8 system (including Windows 8 boot partitions, Windows 8 System repair partitions, reserved partitions for GPT partitioned tables, one-click Functional partitions, Windows 8 system system partitions, user data partitions, and one-key restored data partitions because these partitions are created under GPT partition tables, and Windows 7 uses MBR partition tables. The two are incompatible. So when you convert your laptop's Windows 8 system to a Windows 7 system, you lose all partition data on your hard drive and a single key restore feature of the Windows 8 system pre-installed (that is, you can't recover to a preinstalled Windows 8 system via a single key restore of Lenovo). If you want to revert to a pre-installed Windows 8 system, you can contact the Lenovo Service station to restore to the pre-installed Windows 8 system. So please backup all the important data in your notebook hard disk to Removable storage media (such as U disk, mobile hard disk, etc.) before the operation of the Windows 8 system which is installed in your notebook to be retrofitted to Windows 7 system.

2. In order to ensure the smooth installation of the system, we strongly recommend that you use the genuine Windows 7 operating system CD-ROM (if your notebook does not have an optical drive, we strongly recommend that you use a USB drive to complete the operation). Do not use the ghost version of Windows 7 or other non-genuine Windows 7 operating system CDs. Otherwise, you will not be able to operate. The main reason is also related to the partitioning method described in the first article.

Please note again: The above operation will remove all the partitions in your hard drive, so you will lose all the data in your notebook hard drive, please back up all the important data in your notebook hard disk before you do this operation to the Removable storage media (such as U disk, mobile hard disk, etc.).

When you have deleted all the partitions, click New to recreate the new partition. (limited by MBR hard disk, you can only split 4 primary partitions in the system installation domain, if you need more partitions, please partition the system after installation is complete.) )

After the partition is created, the partition is all formatted, the format is finished, select the partition that you want to install the system, click "Next" to install the system.

3, if you use the above method is still unable to partition operation, please follow the following steps:

1 Enter the WINDOWS7 system installation of the first screen, press the keyboard "Shift" + "F10" key or Shift "key +" Fn "key +" F10 "key. Start the CMD command line mode window;

2 in the CMD Command Line window directly enter the "DiskPart" command, and then press "enter" key, will automatically enter the DiskPart mode;
