The previous Mac Usage Note (http://www.cnblogs.com/guogangj/archive/2012/07/21/2603076.html) talked about some of my experiences with Mac OS x, but with too little content, as I went further, I found more interesting and useful features, so with this second article, the article is not entirely about the use of skills, some are about the system mechanism, and some are about the design concept of Mac OS X.

18. browser safari forward and backward

Forward, two fingers move to the left, backward, two fingers move to the right. One of the design concepts of Mac OS x is to make Mac computers look more like iPad. That's right. Many people use it as toys. I feel that the Touch Experience of the touchpad is quite good, however, it is a little worse than iPad. I believe that in future versions, Apple will make further efforts.

19. Use safari to view the content on the webpage

When I use an iPhone to browse a webpage, I often think that the content is too small. When I need to read the content in a certain area, I will touch the content in that area twice, the content in that area is enlarged to the appropriate size, as is the iPad. According to the design philosophy of Apple, apple also designed safari for Mac OS X to be like this. Do you use the touchpad to "Touch" (touch, not double-click, that is, you don't need to press it down) somewhere on the webpage twice? (Note: I found it easier to perform this operation using the finger abdomen)

20. Full Screen and non-full screen
Full screen is a new function added by Mac OS X lion, similar to Windows window Maximization (but you will find it not). Not all programs support full screen, while safari supports full screen, this provides us with enough space to browse the Web page. The shortcut for switching from non-full screen to full screen is <control> + <command> + <F>, you can also use <control> + <command> + <F> to switch from full screen to non-full screen. You can also simply click <ESC> below. In full screen mode, an application excludes a desktop. You can use the mission controller or trigger the cursor to switch to another desktop, you can also use <control> + <strong> and <control> + <→> to switch between desktops. When the cursor hits the top of the screen, you can call out the menu bar.

21. display the disk on the desktop
Although not recommended, you can fill the desktop with icons, including the disk icon, like windows, and then open the content on your disk.

However, it is really not recommended to do this. When designing Apple's system, we hope users can have a clean desktop, So it provides convenient tools such as Launchpad, spotlight and finder.

22. Go to an upper-level directory of the finder.
Open a deeper directory with finder, and right-click the small icon on the title bar to see if all its upper-level directories are listed? You only need to go wherever you want.

Another method is to display the path bar, finder menu-<display>-<display path bar>, and double-click the upper-level directory you want to go to directly on the path bar.

23. open in a new window
Press <command> and double-click a directory to open it in the new window. (For Windows, press <Ctrl>)

24. Common shortcut keys for Finder
<Command> + <strong> parent directory
<Command> + <strong> open the selected directory (if any)
<Command> + <[> back
<Command> + <]> forward
<Space key> Preview (Remember, this is a useful feature !)

<Enter key> modify the file name. (If you press enter to open the file, what is it ?, I found that both <command> + <o> and <command> + <strong> are supported)

25. File introduction and file observer
Select an object in the finder. <command> + <I> displays the object Introduction Using the inspector. If you use <command> + <alt> + <I>, you will always use the same observer to view the object introduction. (After the observer is opened, click another file in the Finder to check it)

You can add spotlight comments to the observer to specify tags of different colors for the object, specify the open mode, and lock the file (a prompt will appear when the object is deleted or modified). This is a very useful feature.

26. animation Minimization/display
Apple's window minimization animation looks pretty good. It is said that jobs liked the animation effect very much, so Apple's engineers quietly added a feature. You can press and hold down the <shift> key, click the Minimize button. The same is true for restoration from minimization. Press <shift> and then click the icon after minimization.

27. Change the window size.
We all know that you can change the window size by dragging the bottom right corner of the window. Have you ever tried to change the window size by holding down <shift> or holding down <alt>?

28. Task Switching and document Switching
For Windows, <alt> + <tab> and Mac OS X is <command> + <tab>. For multi-document programs, such as safari, multiple tabs are opened, the shortcut key for switching documents is <control> + <tab>, which is the same as that for Windows.

29. Application Introduction
In Windows, to delete an application, you must use its uninstallation program. Otherwise, deleting the program directory directly may lead to incomplete uninstallation, some files that are stored elsewhere are not deleted, some registry contents are not removed, and may even cause errors. Mac OS X is much simpler. An application, the icon you see in the "application" of the finder, is actually a directory suffixed with "app, you can right-click an icon and select "show Package content" to view the content. When you install an application (not an appstore application), copy it to "application". If you delete it, You can directly delete it from "application. Will this cause incomplete deletion? -- I think it is possible because the application may put some content outside its directory, especially in the library directory. Next I will briefly describe the functions of various directories of Mac OS X.

Two applications: carbon and cocoa
Carbon (carbon) and cocoa (cocoa) are two sets of Apis supported on Mac OS X. They are in parallel, and some programs are written in carbon, some of them are written in cocoa. Historically, carbon is older, and some new features of Mac OS X are not as good as cocoa. However, many applications are currently written in carbon, so it's not time to give up carbon completely. From the developer's perspective, carbon uses many C/C ++ languages, while cocoa uses more objective C languages.

30. Directory Overview
"/", Root directory
"/Applications"-application directory, where the program you installed is stored by default, you will find multiple "*. app" subdirectories.
"/Library"-the Library contains resources that may be used by the operating system and applications, including fonts, images, documents, and configurations.
"/System"-main directory of Mac OS X, which is equivalent to "C: \ Windows" of Windows"
"/Users"-user directory, which is equivalent to "C: \ Users" in windows. each user has its own subdirectory, expand these sub-directories to see familiar desktop, download, movie, picture, etc ...... There is also a library directory not displayed in the finder, which is usually used to save the configuration of your own operating system or application.
There are many other directories, but these directories should be the most important.

31. Select multiple objects in the finder.
Like windows resource manager, you can use the <shift> key to select multiple objects. Select the first object and press <shift> and then click another object, then, the objects between the two are also selected.
How can I use <control> single answer as in windows? By the way, press the <command> key.

32. Modify the folder icon
Mac OS icons are very elegant, but sometimes you want to change the icon for a folder by yourself, which is a little uncomfortable, because you cannot find the menu command for changing the icon. In fact, its ideas are not complex:
Prepare the image (preferably with alpha channel, translucent, and looks pretty)

Copy an image (<command> + <C>)
Paste the image (use <command> + <I> to open the observer, select the icon above, and then <command> + <v> paste the post)

Check whether the folder icon has changed? It is also easy to restore the default value. Select the icon and then <command> + <x> (cut image) or directly press <Delete>.

33. The fastest File Transfer Method
What should I do if I want to transfer files between two computers? There are several options, the most common is to use the network, and then pass through some network applications, such as email, QQ or network neighbors, the speed depends on your network card and router (wired or wireless) and the speed of network devices such as switches. Another method is to use a mobile hard disk or a flash disk or other auxiliary external storage devices. The mobile hard disk will be faster, and the USB flash disk will be slower, of course, it would be much faster if you use a solid-state mobile hard drive. Another way is to use Bluetooth, which is very slow. I tried to speed around 60 KB per second, it is very painful to transfer movies. You may say that you can also use infrared rays. This speed is more snail ded and quite unstable. It is estimated that it can only be used to transmit small things of hundreds of kb, it's impossible.

Mac provides a little-known super-fast file transfer method! Faster than the above mentioned, the disadvantage is: only Mac support, and you need to prepare a pair of wiring, this line can be a pair of FireWire 800, but it is best to use the latest connection to the thunderbolt interface (If your Mac supports it), Taobao will sell it all, and thunderbolt provides a theoretical speed of 50 Gbps (actually far from that fast ), now you can use this wire to connect two Mac computers. OK! Restart one of the computers (called Mac a) and "When ~" Press the "T" key during a chord and you will find that the Mac a operating system will not start normally, and two large FireWire and thunderbolt icons will appear on the screen, now you can see the hard disk of Mac a on another Mac. OK. What should you do? It's like the hard disk of Mac a is directly connected.

After use, force turn off Mac a (Press and hold the power-on key for 4 seconds), because the operating system is not started, so you cannot press the normal shutdown), and then start the system as usual.
(I have not tried the specific operation. If there are no conditions, I suggest you try the operation with conditions and share your experience with me)
