1, new 100x100 pixel canvas, background for #009999, click on the Rectangle tool (U) canvas a rectangle, size 80x20 pixels, the border is white.
2, change the fill color is linear (gradient), set start and end color is white (#FFFFFF), mixing degree is set to 50%, the effect should be as shown.
3, with the Arrow tool (V or 0) Select the rectangle, press CTRL + Shift+ G or go to modify | Ungroup. This step converts the rectangle to the path, allowing us to change/increase the vector point. 4, then, zoom in on the rectangle (I select 200%), click on the pen tool. Move your mouse to the end of the left rectangle (your pointer should change to the pen there is +), and click Add 5 different points, as shown:
5. Now, select the section Selection tool (A), select the rectangle, click and drag the new point to the inside a little pixel. You try to make the end of the rectangle as if it were tearing the edge.
6, we want to better effect, please copy your layer (CTRL + C then CTRL + V) and select the bottom. In color selection, change the fill style to solid (gradient to Solid).
7, open Effect options. Choose Shadows and Halos | Projection, change the options as shown.
8. Now press (CTRL + G) to combine all the layers. Just paste it in the right place, OK.
