In the previous 1st-day Meeting of armtechcon2014 (Santa Clara Convention Center), the primary keynote was the mbed OS launched by arm for the establishment of the IOT (internetof things, Iot. In fact, this mbed OS is running and relies on the joint interaction between the three parties, devices, device servers, and mbed applications (mobile phone applications or browser applications ). The relationships between the three are:

Arm actually tries to define the RTOS, server software stack, and programming tools running on the M series.

Mbed OS running on the cortex-M series

There are command line-based tools and web-based IDE.

From the dynamics of arm, we can see that arm's ambition for the future and a medium-term strategic plan, it actually wants to establish an Iot ecosystem, so it is bound to look for partners in silicon and cloud. If predictions about smart city, Smart Home, and wearable devices become real in the next few years, we should have a lot of expectations.

Engineers and entrepreneurs should be able to make strategic planning or transformation based on this trend.
