method of using Excel to clone a column chart of a voice control adjuster
The resulting effect is shown in the following illustration. This chart is characterized by a columnar shape similar to the common slider and adjust the button, as the data changes, adjust the position of the button can also be automatically changed, with a dynamic and three-dimensional, suitable for dynamic charts and dashboard and other scenes.
In the actual implementation process, there can be a percentage of stacked or primary and secondary axes of the two-column diagram and other implementation schemes, in this case the former as an example to achieve the following steps:
Step 1:
The first is data preparation work. To add a list of secondary data on the basis of the original data, the secondary data is used to display the part of the slider above the slider (the original data to display the button below). So you can set a value as the height of the entire slider, and then use this value minus the original data column to get the secondary data. In this example, the original data is 100 of the project completion ratio of data, so you can choose 100来 as the height of the entire column, with 100来 minus the original data to get the value of secondary data.
Step 2:
Select the original and secondary data and create a percentage stacked column chart. The column section below corresponds to the original data, and the upper column section corresponds to the auxiliary data.
Step 3:
Use the Add Data feature to add the original data to the chart again to form a third series of data. A simpler way to do this is to select the original data column and press CTRL + C to copy it, and then select the chart to paste with Ctrl + V. After this operation, a three-segment column is displayed in the chart. The purpose of this operation is to use this set of data to eventually produce the data points of the slider in the slider.
Step 4:
Select the data series that you added in the previous step (select the data series individually, don't select the entire chart), change the chart type, and select line chart with data points. After this step, you can form a combination chart that contains both column and line charts, where the first two data series is a column chart, and the third series that follows is a line chart.
