However, we can also see that although this is a Simplified Chinese version officially launched by Microsoft, most of the menus are in English, but fortunately few, and for Sharepoint developers, these English words should be familiar. If you have used wspbuilder before, you can see that these functions are almost the same as those provided by wspbuilder.

Different from wspbuilder, if we want to deploy a file to the 12 directory, we need to create a folder named "rootfiles" instead of "12 ", this corresponds to the rootfiles node in the WSP structure, and you can create other content below (but the features Folder does not seem to be a feature ).

In the official statement, 1.3 provides the following new features (compared with 1.2 ):

• You can install it on an x64 server operating system computer running SharePoint x64. Previously, only X86 server operating systems were used.

• Now, deployment can selectively Delete existing conflicting functions on the development server before redeployment. In the past, any function name conflict would cause an error.
• A secondary assembly is now added to the SharePoint solution WSP, for example, an assembly for business logic.
• The hidden function associated with the website definition project is now displayed in the WSP view. They are no longer hidden.
• For advanced users, including the quick deployment function, you can only update the compiled assembly on SharePoint development and installation.
