1. Install pl/SQL developer. Note that 64-bit pl/SQL developer is only 32-bit, but cannot be installed in the program files (x86) folder, it can be attached to another disk path, such as D: \ pl/SQL developer. Configure later

2, download Instant Client, go to the oracle official website, need to register login to download instant oracle client-basic-win32-11.2.0.1.0, but the Chinese network has a lot of resources can also be used.

1) because it is a green version, directly extract it to a place such as E: \ instantclient_11_2

2) E: \ instantclient_11_2 create a folder named network

3) create a file named tnsnames. ora in the network.

3. Configure pl/SQL developer and enter plsql without connection status. In the preference menu under tools, set the path in the connection tab of oracle:

Select the content decompressed by the instant client in step 2 and the oci. dll file. After that, restart plsql developer.
