Oracle get command and Oracleget command
Oracle can use the get command to read file content to the buffer zone,
The get command syntax is as follows:
Get [file] file_name {list | nolist]
File_name indicates an external file, which is included in the SQL * plus buffer.
List indicates the list of statements in the buffer.
Nolist indicates that the content in the buffer zone is not listed.
Example:
Create a query. SQL in the disk, where the content is
Select * from dept
/
In SQL * plus
SQL> get e: \ query. SQL
1 * select * from dept
// Content in the execution Buffer
SQL> run
1 * select * from dept
DEPTNO DNAME LOC
-------------------------------------
10 ACCOUNTING NEW YORK
20 RESEARCH DALLAS
30 SALES CHICAGO
40 OPERATIONS BOSTON
Using nolist will not list the content in the buffer
SQL> get e: \ query. SQL nolist;
SQL> run
1 * select * from dept
DEPTNO DNAME LOC
-------------------------------------
10 ACCOUNTING NEW YORK
20 RESEARCH DALLAS
30 SALES CHICAGO
40 OPERATIONS BOSTON
