PowerPCB5.0.1 commands in the

1. Global Settings (Settings)

C supplementary format, which is used to display the pads and thermal of the plane layer in the design of the inner layer negative.

To use this method: Enter C display on the keyboard and enter C again to remove the display.

Turns on or off the complementary display mode of the design screen.

D turn on or off the current layer display by entering D from the keyboard to switch. It is recommended to design with D to display the current Layer in the last = on state.

Do turn the over hole display mode on or off.

E routing termination mode switch, can be switched between the following 3 modes.

"End no via" cabling with CTRL + TAP to terminate without via

When "End Via" is routed, CTRL + Tap is terminated by Via mode

"End Test point" is routed with CTRL + click-to-hit wiring to test the PIN's via mode termination

To use this method: Enter E from the keyboard to switch.

I Database Integrity test, when the design process found that the system is abnormal, you can try knocking this key.

L<n> change the highlight layer to the nth layer. "N" can be a layer number or a layer name, such as "L2" or "L Top"

N<s> is used to let net highlight, "s" for the signal name to display. The signal can be displayed on a stack-by-display basis, such as the "N GND" modeless command highlighting the entire "GND" network, and then the "N A13" modeless command continues highlighting the "A13" network.

N-Suppress highlighting in the reverse order of the highlighting operation.

N cancels all the highlighting signals.

O<r> the pads and the wires are displayed in the outer frame;//Select a contour line to display the pads and wiring.

The PO laying copper switches between the display frame and the fill, and/or the Automatic copper profile line switch on/off.

Q Open the Quick gauge to start the measurement at the current position. Dx,dy and D can be measured quickly. The snaps to the design grid in the status box is canceled when the idea is measured accurately.

QL quickly measures wiring lengths. Line, network, and wiring pairs can be measured.

The measurement method is as follows: Select the segment, network or wiring pair that you want to measure, and then type the "QL" non-modulo command to generate a length report.

R<n> sets the minimum display lineweight, and lines smaller than this value display only their centerlines, such as "R8".

The RV is used to toggle the parameter setting when the output is reused for file reuse. For more information, see "To make a-reuse in Object mode"//maintain a repetitive use circuit mode.

SPD Displays split/mixed plans layer data, which controls one of the parameters in the Split/mixed Planes Parameters dialog box. Displays data that generates a mix \ split layer.

The SPI displays the thermal of the plane layer. This command controls one of the parameters in the Split/mixed Planes Parameters dialog box. Displays the hot pad designator symbol "X".

The SPO shows the contour lines of the split/mixed planes layer. This command controls one of the parameters in the Splix/mixed Planes Parameters dialog box. Displays only the outer border of the blend \ Split layer.

T set the PCB view as transparent display mode, which is useful for complex board design.

X text text outline line display toggle. Turns the text box display on or off.

W<n> change the line width to <n>, such as "W30".

2. grid (Grids)

G<x>{<y>} Global raster settings. The second parameter is optional. Design and Via Grid can be changed at the same time. such as G25 or G25 25

Gd<x>{<y>} displays the grid settings. The second parameter is optional. such as GD25 25 or GD100.

GP toggles the polar grid. The polar grid is used when the design shape is circular, or the component layout is placed in polar coordinates. Turns the polar raster on or off.

GP R A moves to a developed polar coordinate, r is the radius, and a is the angle.

GPR R moves to a specified point with a radial radius of R at an angle of a certain condition.

GPA A in the radial radius r under certain conditions, according to the developed angle a move.

GPRA da in the radial radius r under certain conditions, according to the developed Angle da to move.

GPRR Dr In angle A under certain conditions, according to the current radial radius dr to move.

Gp<xx> Set the design grid (grid), such as GR 8-1/3,gr 25,or GR25.

Gv<xx> Set the Vias raster (Via grid), such as GV 8-1/3,GV 25,or GV25.

3. Find (search)

S<s> Find component components or pins, such as S U1, S U1.1.

S<n><n> find an absolute coordinate point, such as "S 15001200".

Sr<n><n> finds a relative coordinate point, such as SR-200 100.

Srx<n> keeps the current y-coordinate unchanged, looking for a relative x-coordinate point, such as SRX 300.

Sry<n> keeps the current x-coordinate constant, looking for a relative y-coordinate point, such as SRY 400.

Ss<s> finds and selects one or a class of components, because this command supports the wildcard symbol "*", such as SS U10.

Note: Spaces in shortcut commands are important, such as the SS W1 and S SW1 have a completely different meaning. The SS W1 is to retrieve and select the W1 element, while S SW1 is the component that retrieves the SW.

SS <s>* can use the * number in the search command to make a batch selection. The method is to enter a space after the SS, enter the character name and the * number to retrieve. Like SS c*, you can select all components that start with the letter C.

Note: This command is useful for component layout, such as you can select all resistors with SS r* and then move the originals individually by selecting the move sequential in the pop-up Meun to layout.

Sx<n> keeps the current y-coordinate unchanged, moving an established absolute coordinate X-point, such as SX 300.

Sy<n> keeps the current x-coordinate unchanged, moving an established absolute coordinate y-point, such as Sy 400.

XP finds and selects segments that use pixels rather than line widths. This command allows the user to adjust to those corners where the width is less than the lineweight.

4. Angle (angles)

AA switches to any angle mode.

AD switches to 45° mode.

AO switches to right angle mode.

5. Cancel (undo)

Un[<n>] The number of times the user sets undo. The system can allow set Undo (1-100);<n> to be optional, as UN 2 means that only one undo is allowed. Multiple operations can be canceled because N is mutable.

Re[<n>] The number of times the user has set redo. The system can allow setting Redo (1-100);<n> to be optional, as the meaning of re 2 is to allow only one redo. Repeat multiple operations.

6. Design Rules check (Checking) (DRC)

DRP opens a design rule check to prohibit operations that violate design rules.

DRW warns against actions that violate the design rules check.

DRI ignores safe spacing checks.

DRO completely shuts down the design rules (note that some features are not available at this time).

7. Route (Routing)

E routing termination mode switch, can be switched between 3 ways. (described above)//toggle between the two modes: to pause the line through a hole, not to pause the route through a hole.

LD toggles the current layer's line in both vertical and horizontal directions.

Pl<n><n> sets the layer pair for the current operation. "N" can be a layer number or a layer name. such as Pl 1 2 or

PL Top Bottom

SH push mode on/off switch. Turn push mode on or off.

V<name> Select via type, such as V standard via. Select the type of vias you are currently using.
