We often see a lot of image tutorials on the web that are created using 3D text, which typically uses a 3D program like 3dsmax,xara, Cinema 4D, and so on. If your goal is to create a simple 3d text, you can easily implement it with Photoshop. In this tutorial, we will learn how to achieve such a 3D effect. In fact, you can use this simple technique to create stylish modern logos and icons.

1. Open Photoshop, create a new file with a size of 1280 * 800px, and enter text in your file. The font I use is Avenger, which is a great font. can be downloaded free of charge in Dafont. The color I use is #14b2d9.

3, now to the important part, click on the text layer, hold down the Ctrl+alt key, press the UP key 8-10 times to copy the layer to create a 3D layer.

4, now, we need to name the top layer as "tops", merge all the other layers, and put it underneath the top layer. Rename this layer to "BOTTOM". Now, double click the "BOTTOM" layer to set the gradient overlay in the following figure:
