Photoshop tips for making glass goblets

Glass seems relatively simple, but the process of characterization is rather cumbersome. Need to find each surface of the highlight and reflective area, and then in a certain order slowly, the main color needs to fuse the background color, so that the whole will be more realistic.

1, the cup disassembly diagram as follows, divided into: cup body, handle, bottom cushion three parts.

2, a new 1024 * 768 pixel file, select the Gradient tool, color settings such as Figure 2, from top to bottom pull out of the linear gradient shown in Figure 3 as the background.

3, now to make a cup body part, a new group, with a pen to check the shape of the body, into the selection after the group to add layer mask, the following figure.
