1. Open an image that you want to add an effect to (Figure 1).

2. Select the Magic Wand tool, hold down SHIFT and select the dark background area around the ceramic cup and highlight all background areas. Then execute the menu-select-Reverse, so that the selection in turn selects the porcelain cup (Figure 2).

3. Copy and paste part of the porcelain cup in the selection, perform menu-filter-pixel-lattice, cell size set to 20 pixels (Figure 3).

4. After the completion of the menu-filter-styling-Find the Edge (Figure 4).

5. It is now possible to see the cracks on the surface of the porcelain cup that have been produced, but still obscure. Let's make the crack clear. Execute menu-image-Adjust-level, enter 0, 0.10, 255 in the parameter box of the input of the color order, and then execute the menu-image-Adjust-go color (Figure 5).

6. All right! Now the crack is ready! The following is to combine these cracks with the porcelain cup itself. The menu-filter-render-lighting effect is first performed, and the lighting parameters and light direction are set to look like (Figure 6), and the effect is as shown (Figure 7).

7. Finally, change the mixed mode of the cracked layer to multiply, and change the opacity of the layer to about 10%. A cracked ceramic cup was completed (Fig. 8).
