1, brightness is a color of the relative brightness, saturation refers to the purity of a color (color contains how much gray)
2. Mixed Mode
The color pixels of the lower picture are called "basic Colors"; The selected is called a "blend" color, and for most blending modes, Photoshop typically compares the colors of two layers by channel.
Classification of mixed modes:
Base blending mode replaces base color
Normal: all basic colors will be modified;
Dissolve: Create a dry brush with mixed colors, the higher the opacity of the layer, the more solid the color;
Darken Blend Mode Dim basic Color
Darken: Blend Color Dim basic Color
color Burn: Enhance the contrast of the basic color by dimming the shaded area and increasing the area;
Dark: blend color replaces the basic color that is brighter than it, without affecting the darker base color;
multiply: dark blend colors generate darker base colors; Bright blend color This is just the dimming base color, which is suitable for creating translucent shadows;
linear burn: shades The base color with a blend of colors by reducing the brightness;
Lighten blending mode to improve basic color
Lighten : only adjust the basic color darker than the blend color, the basic color brighter than the blend color is basically unaffected;
Color Dodge: The brightness blend color increases the base color by lowering the layer contrast, and the dark blend color will apply a slight hue like the base color;
Light: The blend color will replace the basic color darker than yourself, without affecting the base color brighter than yourself, the blend color will be completely opaque and can be used to smear the underlying darker color without creating a selection;
filter: Bright blend color produces brighter color, can bleach basic color, dark blend color slightly improve basic color;
linear Dodge (ADD): bright blend color increases the base color by increasing the layer brightness, and the dark blend color applies a slight tint to the base color;
Contrast blending mode enhances or reduces overall contrast
Overlay: When the luminance (bright and dark) values are preserved , the main color is dimmed, and the basic color is lightened by the color filter (lighten). Black and white pixels do not change, so the details are preserved;
Strong light: If the blend color is brighter, the filter color (lighten) The basic color, if the blend color is darker, multiply (darken) the base color. Suitable for synthesizing effects or drawing luminous highlights;
Linear Light: If the blend is darker, the base color is decreased by decreasing the brightness (darkening), and if the blend color is lighter, by increasing the lightness of the Light (lighten) the base color;
Soft Light: apply bright tones to soften the basic color and retain the luminance value of the base color;
Brightness: If the blend color is darker, the base color is deepened (dimmed) by increasing the contrast , and if the blend color is lighter, the basic color is reduced by decreasing the contrast.
Light: replaces the basic color with the bright blend color, and the dark blending mode applies only faint tones to the base color;
Solid Color Blending: The dark blend color will produce more black in the base color, and the bright blend color will produce more white color in the base color;
Reverse the basic color by contrasting blending modes
difference: invert the basic color and blend color, the brighter the blend color, the more saturated the final color;
Exclude: turn the basic color to gray and invert the contrast color of the bright area in areas with dim color, reducing contrast;
Subtract: the bright blend color dims the base color, and the dark blend color dims the base color with its own reversal value;
divide: The lighter blend color will darken the base color, and the darker blend color will retain the dark tones in the base color and bleach all other colors;
Component Blending mode applies a specific color component
Hue: Only the hue of the blend color is applied, and the saturation and luminance values of the base color are preserved (white and black);
saturation: applies only the saturation of the blend color, without changing the hue and lightness values of the base color;
color: Apply the saturation and hue of the blended color, preserving the luminance value (detail) of the base color, which can be used for coloring;
lightness: will be replaced several times the luminance value of the color is the luminance value of the mixed color, the hue and saturation in the basic color remain unchanged;
