Feathers always give people the feeling of light dancing, watching the flying feathers, any unpleasant mood will vanish, this is the charm of feathers. Here we will use Photoshop to capture this moving moment, so that we can make the feathers colored in order not to be too monotonous.

1. Start Photoshop CS, create a new canvas, and create a new layer filled with white, perform the filter → noise → add noise command, and add miscellaneous points to the background layer. Set Quantity to 52 in the Add Noise dialog box, and then perform the filter → Blur → motion blur command to set the angle to 0 in the Motion Blur dialog box, and the distance to 198.

2. Perform "image → adjust → brightness/contrast" command, adjust the contrast of the image to make the texture more delicate, as shown in Figure 1. Sometimes not at once can be adjusted, to repeatedly apply the "add Noise" and "motion blur" filter to test, otherwise it is not too coarse texture is not clear.

3. Select the left half of the texture using the rectangular marquee tool box. Perform the chamfered command by dragging the left handle down to skew the image of the selected part, and then doing the same thing with the right half of the texture, except this time to skew the right side of the selected part.

4. Next, use the Pen tool to draw the outline of the feather in the texture image, then convert the path to a selection, select it, press the DEL key to remove the area outside of outline, and then use the path to create the outline selection of the feather axis in the center of the feather and fill it with a gradient, as shown in Figure 2.

5. Perform the "filter → twist → shear" command on the feather, and then copy and adjust the size of each feather, and finally perform the "image → adjust → hue/saturation" command to adjust each feather color differently, as shown in Figure 3.
