In essence, there is no difference between them, because they both have a storage method on the hard disk-binary, but if you want to distinguish them, it can be understood in this way. Each character is composed of one or more bytes. Each byte is represented by a part of the value between-128-127, that is, -There is still some data between 128--127 that does not correspond to any character bytes. If the content of each byte in a file can be expressed as character data, we can call this file as a text file. It can be seen that a text file is only a special case in a binary file, to be different from text files, files other than text files are called binary files. Since it is difficult to strictly distinguish between text files and binary files, we can simply think that, if a file is used to store text character data without any other data, it is called a text file. Other files are binary files.
