Practical example of calculating workday days in excel

The NETWORKDAYS function is usually used to calculate the actual working day days between two dates.

The following is a simple and practical case to show you the formula for calculating the number of working days in excel. For example, the following screenshot shows the name of an employee in column A and the date of entry for each employee in column B. They all joined the company in February, but their specific dates are different. The question is, how many days have each person actually worked in February? Note: In computing, you must not go to work on Saturday or Sunday.

In this case, we can write the formula = NETWORKDAYS (B2, "2015-7-31") in cell C2, and then copy the formula from the drop-down list.
