The actual situation is: the world's top 200 universities, and none of China! How many products can be exported in Asia? After I went abroad, I felt like a communist ideal to build Zhejiang University into a world-class university. We will always work hard! However, we should not pursue such an illusory goal and call such slogans. We still have a big gap.
The current several industries have also taken several directions in the past few years to target the Chinese technology industry. Like Nano, it is just a concept of scale. Materials of various scales have their respective uses. For example, why should we make the clay into a brick? The scale of the brick is much larger than that of the sand, because the small sand has no strength. How can we describe the rich and colorful material world as a Nano? Therefore, no one pays attention to the slogan proposed by anyone. In fact, we are in the trap of the Americans! This is the same as the arms race. The people who come out of the Japanese building are all highly educated, while the people who come out of our building in Shanghai are all full of illiterate people! How can we say that the country is modernized? The World Trade Center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province will be very beautiful, but you can go to the Xixi river to see it. If the Xixi river can see birds and Swan, Hangzhou will be modernized. This is not a problem of wearing a dress. What do we need most? We should not use these things to look like this! Which of the following aspects should we focus on? These are some of my suggestions and some slogans. I used to say "ignorance and fearlessness", but now it is "ignorance and fearlessness". Many enterprises invite people from the Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of Technical Supervision and the Science and Technology Commission to have a meal, if you have a drink, he signs a letter for you. Then he forces our professors there and builds a seal for you, then we will "fill in gaps at Home and Abroad" and "advanced international standards", write papers as "leading international research achievements" and "first scientific discovery", etc, this is a very serious problem! As a university professor, I am deeply worried! This is not our responsibility, it is our leadership ignorance, and they advocate this mainstream. I know that the present Director or boss is very sad, because if you do not write such a report, you will not get the money, and the project will not be approved. The same is true for professors who write reports every day, rather than making research in the lab. This is very serious! Scientists said that nano-scale is omnipotent. Everyone is going to engage in nano-scale. The boss said: There are infinite nano-scale business opportunities, and there is no chance to do anything else. Therefore, Ningbo wants to do what Zhuji wants, tiantai also wants to do it. Everyone wants to create Nano. Scientists know that nano-scale is unstable, and they gather together as materials, but the industry does not know this. Some people say that Nano is so good, we all turn into nano people, but who plays high basketball? The basket has to be lowered. Can the role of nano-human be used in cerebral thrombosis treatment? You don't need to take any medicine. Just dig a small hole in your head and let the nano-human drill in and clean it up. These things may be difficult for me. In the last one or two months, nano-sized refrigerators have been very popular in Zhejiang. I don't understand what "nano-sized refrigerators can defend against mold: one is the concept of biology and hygiene, and the other is the nano size of materials. How can it prevent mold? Therefore, you must pay attention to the fact that an ignorant person cannot cheat a person because he is bold and dare to say anything. Therefore, "ignorance is fearless ", we don't dare to talk about anything we know. this is misleading! At present, the scientific community is very confused: many units that have nothing to do with nano-Research and do not have nano-research are on the nano-project, and many new battlefields have been opened. As a business person, this investment is a risk investment and the absolute return is very dangerous. The more high-tech the thing, the less I want to count on its market return. I proposed this concept today.
What are people in the press? Comrades in the press like to write new things. I know that nothing new is not wonderful. Misleading is related to the press. One thing the press heard was a piece, so that the whole version of the newspaper in Zhejiang was written in Nano. I especially warn you that this is a very vulgar concept of the entire discipline!
Let me talk about technology. The foundation of our national industry is extremely fragile. I have been shopping in Japanese stores over the past few years. So I am very worried about this. In the next five or ten years, what else do you have? After this vicious circle, we basically don't have our own industry! My personal point of view is as follows:
First, the reality and development of our country are like this: anything that we can't rely on, we can make ourselves look decent, such as two bombs and one star; anything that can be introduced can't be done. Why? Scientific and technical personnel of enterprises have worked hard to create a technological innovation. This is a reality! Now many joint ventures sell things without considering these deep things. This is a vicious circle of society! The following questions are the most important questions: what kind of education does China need? What kind of talents does China need? What kind of technology does China need? What Industries does China need?
What is education and learning? Recently, kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools, universities, restaurants, factories, mining enterprises, and other organizations have invited me to give a speech. I often appeal: This is harmful! My classmates are selling food and Chinese medicine in the United States, but they are very envious of me in China. Their money is a little more than me, but now I live a better life in China than they do in the United States! It can be seen that this is not a problem that money can solve. I suffered a lot when I went to Japan to stay. This time I went to English University and met more than a dozen Chinese students who complained to me: I only slept for four hours every day! Many old professors at Zhejiang University, both husband and wife cannot walk, but their children are in the United States. I think the Chinese national psychology has been distorted to some extent in recent years! Foreigners do not understand and think that Chinese people are ill: Why are couples not together, but one party is abroad and the other party and their children are in China ?! If my parents are old, do you need to serve them? Do I miss my parents abroad? The answer is yes, but I don't know what it is ?!
