Network path is not found when computer computer joins domain | The Active Directory is missing DNS records. I've always seen friends ask, clients join the Domain times error: The following errors occurred while joining the domain, and the system prompted that the network path could not be found. Why, then?
There are several common causes:
1, the client primary DNS, that is, primary DNS is not filled out, does not point to the DC domain controller DNS.
2. The DNS service is not installed on the DC domain controller.
3, there is no SRV record for the DC domain controller on the DNS server, or it is wrong.
So how do you solve a problem where you can't find a network path when you join a domain?
1, modify TCP/IP settings, the primary primary DNS modified to DC IP.
2. Install the DNS service on the DC domain controller, either before or after the DCPROMO elevation domain controller is executed.
3, on the DC, modify the TCP/IP settings, the primary primary DNS modified to DC IP. Finally, run the following command:
NET stop DNS && net stop netlogon
NET start DNS && net start netlogon
Then confirm that the DC's SRV record is correct
