Now start the cottage, in order to save space, I try to brief the story. Add a gradient fill layer first ~
Enter a few letters ~
Double-click the letter layer to open the layer style and add a gradient ~
and the Inner Shadow ~
To create a new layer, press CTRL and click on the letter layer thumbnail to load the selection ~
Fill any color ~
Cancel the selection, ctrl+t, and "flatten" the whole filled letter.
Right-click in the Control box to select "Warp" ~
The bottom of the letter does not move, only adjusts the slope above, so that the letter produced from the background peel effect ~
If you are not satisfied with the effect of one of the letters, you can also use the "control deformation" to make subtle changes to it, such as the V-letter in the picture ~
Press ALT to move the gradient fill layer to the deformed letter fill layer, ctrl+alt+g the clipping mask ~
Double-click the letter fill layer to enter the layer style, add a gradient, the top of the color is darker to simulate the letter after the deformation of the curved shadow. And you should have noticed that I used the transparency adjustment to make the bottom of the alphabet blend with the background.
Use the inner shadow to simulate the thickness of the deformed letter, here I do not like the original effect, the reason is that it appears unreal, but the only advantage is simple, suitable for lazy people ~
I made some corrections and did not use the inner shadow. Copy the Variant letter one layer, clear the layer style, click to open the lock pixel, fill the white. Move to the top left corner 3, 4 pixels away ~
Change the size and transparency of the brush, absorbing the shadow color above the letter, and apply it carefully. Simulates the shadow cast on the edge after the letter is bent. Because the pixel is locked, so you can be confident of the painting without fear of "painting out of Bounds", this is not just a simple use of the inner shadow to show the effect to be true?
Create a new layer on the text letter, press CTRL and click the letter layer of the text to load the selection, fill the 50% gray, and change the layer blending mode to "multiply" ~
Like the previous processing of curved letters, compressed after the deformation, but not the same direction, now to the left bend ~
Select a brush with a hardness of 0 size, press Q to enter the quick mask, and select most of the upper part of the Shadow letter ~
Press Q again to exit the quick mask, Gaussian blur ~
Remove the selection and blur the excess with the fuzzy tool ~
As you can see in your normal life, when an object casts a shadow closer to the object, the edge of the shadow becomes more visible, the color is deeper, the lighter color and the edge is blurred. Double-click the shadow layer, go to the layer style, add a gradient, and make the shadow more realistic.
Finished, the small print of the above I do not intend to ignore him ~
