Often in the online some of the PS forum wandering, found that sometimes a friend asking how to pull figures. In particular, some of the background of complex character pictures, for a lot of beginners PS friends, pull the map became a very painful thing. Today, I would like to introduce a simple and practical PS figure-drawing method. Hope to bring some help to everyone.
First put on the original plan to do this exercise, the pictures are as follows
Save the picture above to our computer, open it in PS and start. The specific operation is as follows
Open the picture, switch to the channel panel, observe the red, green, blue three channels, see which channel picture is the clearest, choose their own think the clearest channel, copy channel. This picture, I choose green Channel, make copy. Copy to get green copy Channel
Select the green copy channel, perform the image-adjust-level, adjust the input levels to 146, 1,219, and then load the green copy channel selection, perform the selection-reverse
Select the RGB channel and press CTRL+J to copy the selection to the new layer, which will get the layer 1
Select Layer 1, hide the background layer, at this point, we can see some of the details of the characters were pulled out, such as the character's hair is more complete to pull out. Now the rest is to pick the main body of the person.
We restore the visibility of the background layer, select the background layer, select the Pen tool, and use the pen tool to outline the path shown in the following figure, with the main principle of depicting the inner edge of the character.
Convert the path to a selection (shortcut key is Ctrl+enter), press Ctrl+j to copy the selection to the new layer, and get layer 2. OK, now we hide the background layer, the effect is as follows
OK, let's go to this step and we'll start cleaning up the pictures. Select Layer 1, select the Eraser tool, select the brush with the soft angle, so it is not easy to hurt the character itself, choose, and start using it to erase the parts except the characters.
Although we are careful, it is still possible to hurt the character itself. It doesn't matter, because we have a way to make it up. Select the history brush, you can mistakenly wipe off the place, the coating, you can restore, pull the good effect diagram as follows
Here is a picture of the effect after adding a beautiful background, please enjoy
