This tutorial contains a number of basic lighting design skills ~ Well worth learning, not difficult, is very cumbersome.

In this tutorial, I'll show you some ways to create eddies (create swirls can also be called spirals) and combine them, and you'll learn some very powerful techniques that make it easy to use different styles of vortices (spirals). (This tutorial contains a lot of basic lighting design skills ~ Well worth learning, not difficult, is very cumbersome)
First create a new 1920x1200px/72 dpi file (File > New). Then select the Paint Bucket tool (G) to paint the new background layer black.

Looking for a picture of a model, I found this picture from Deviantart. Of course, I would like to thank the author of this photo:

Cut out the image of the model and put it in the new layer (above the black background).

Create a new layer where standard brushes are used to describe the background of the model layer. The color of the brush is #cd00fe (opacity 20%)

Use the Rectangle tool (U) to continue creating the background, depicting the rectangle with the #dd00ff color. You should also use a little free transformation option. The layer needs to be placed below the model layer.

Create a new layer, apply a standard brush, and use the previously used black (opacity 20%) to deepen the pink rectangular layer. This new layer also needs to be placed below the model layer. (In fact, there are many ways to make this step, you can try it.) )

Alt-click between the pink rectangular layer and the Black Brush layer (in the Layers panel).

Next, we will use the line tool (U) (weight 5PX) to draw the edge line of the pink rectangle. This line uses color #dd00ff. This layer should be placed below the model layer.

Click on the pink rectangular layer on the layers panel to set the layer style, blending options > Gradient Overlay

The parameters of the gradient

If you combine the pink rectangle with its shadow and edge lines, these layers may get the best effect (press CTRL to mark the corresponding layer and move the layer to the new layer group created) by pressing the left mouse button. Copy the layer group, changing the color of the rectangle's copy and its edge line--#4F92C7. Using the free transform option, place the copy in the position shown in the following illustration:

Next, we open the Adobe Illustrator program. Select the Pen tool (P) to draw two black lines.

Using the direct Selection tool (A), select two points, apply objects > Blending > Blending options

Select the trim point, and then press CTRL + C (copy) to return to Adobe Photoshop software. Press CTRL + V (select Smart object) to paste. Select a line layer to apply the following layer styles: Blending options > Color Overlay

Layer Parameters:
Opacity 34%

Create a new layer and apply a black standard brush (opacity 10%) to deepen the edge of the line.

In the next new layer (create a new layer) we will apply the standard brushes mentioned above to brighten the area behind the model. Brush to use white (opacity 15%). This layer needs to be placed below the model layer.

Now we will create a circle in the head position of the model, using the Ellipse tool (U).

Layer Parameters:
Fill 0%
Blending Options > Inner Shadow

Blending Options > Gradient Overlays

Gradient parameters

In this tutorial I used the following figure from the Dinpattern pattern:
Dead Kings

Disco Gold

Humidor

Medallion burned

Now, we will draw a few swirls near the wrist of the model (water droplets shape pattern) and select the Pen tool (P) to complete.

Layer Style:
Blending options > Bevel and Emboss

Next, we will insert the previously saved texture layer, press CTRL + U application, and place the texture layer above the vortex layer.

Alt-Click between the texture layer and the upper layer (in the Layers panel).

Continue to add decorations, using the previous tool-pen tool (P). The color of the layer is #1685d4.

Layer Style
Blending Options > Inner Glow

Blending options > Bevel and Emboss

Insert a texture layer

Layer Parameters:
Fill 30%

Alt-Click between the texture layer and the upper layer (in the Layers panel).

We continue to add the next ornament and apply the Pen tool (P).

Layer Style
Blending Options > projections

Blending Options > Inner Glow

Blending Options > Gradient Overlays

Gradient parameters

Put this texture on top of the layer, but it should be lower than the model layer.

Hold down the ALT key and click between layers:

Let's add some highlights to the decorations and apply the pen tool (P).

Layer Parameters:
Fill 0%
Blending Options > Gradient Overlays

Gradient parameters

Using the same Pen tool (P), try adding the next decorative element, using the color #ffb904

Layer Style:
Blending Options > projections

Blending options > Strokes

Copy the last layer three times, select the free transform option so that each copy shrinks proportionally, changing the color of the copy layer. The top layer is white (see figure for other copy colors). Use for all replicas--blending options > Strokes

Hold down the ALT key to click between the copy and the first layer (original):

Merge all the duplicate and original shape layers into one group (press CTRL to mark the related layer and hold down the left mouse button to move the tag layer to create the new group). Copy this layer group and select the Free transform option to change its size as follows:

Continue adding decorative elements with the pen tool (P). (I'm tired,-_-, get a drink of water)

OK, come back. Continue:

Layer Parameters:
Fill 0%
Blending Options > projections

Blending Options > Inner Shadow

Blending Options > Gloss

Blending Options > Gradient Overlays

Gradient parameters

Let's add highlights to the surface of the decorations, using the Oval tool (U)

Layer Parameters:
Fill 0%
Blending Options > Gradient Overlays

Gradient parameters

Next, we'll add another decorative element, which is a #2da6c5 color. This layer will be lower than all the decorative layers previously made.

Layer Style
Blending Options > projections

Blending options > Strokes

Copy the last layer three times, select the free transform option to make each copy shrink in turn, and we need to change the color of the copy layer (figure). Use for all replicas--blending options > Strokes

Continue adding decorative elements with the pen tool (P).

Layer Style
Blending Options > projections

Blending Options > Gradient Overlays

Blending options > Strokes

Add the next element with the same tool:

Blending Options > projections

Blending Options > Inner Shadow

Blending options > Bevel and Emboss

Blending Options > Color Overlay

Blending Options > Pattern Overlay (set to pattern 2)

Blending options > Strokes

Add a highlight to the decorative element and select the Pen tool (P).

Add the next element in the same way, the color is #cd5050

Insert a texture above an element

Press the ALT key to click between the texture layer and the decorative element layer.

Continue to add more decorative elements, this step will not repeat the simple, the result is as follows:

Select the standard brush with opacity 10%, select the Eyedropper tool (T) (Create new layer) on the new layer to add the high light by extracting the appropriate color specimen from the object around the model.

Press the ALT key to click between the high light layer and the model layer.

Click on the bottom of the layers panel to create a new fill or adjust layer > curve

Create a new layer and choose a black standard brush (opacity 20%) to deepen the model's legs.

Layer Parameters:
Fill 80%
Mixed Mode > projection

Next, we'll add a few segments and first draw their path. Select Pen Tool (P) (path mode)

Next, we will put each line in a new layer (create a new layer), using the standard brush and the following figure color (diameter 3, hardness 100%). With the direct selection tool (A), try marking each segment and then using the Pen tool (P). Right-click the Marked line stroke path (brush mode) here.

Repeat this step for each line

Set the same parameters for each line layer: blending options > Projections

Click the Add mask option at the bottom of the Layers panel to select a standard black brush to clear the area and top of the line near the wrist of the model.

Merges all the colored line layers.
Set parameters for a layer group: (Opacity 82%)

Next, we need to use the same technique on the other wrist of the model-colored lines (create 5 new layers, standard brushes, use the color below).

Set the same layer style for each layer-blending options > projections (that is, the same as the lines we do on the other hand).

Clean the lines of the other hand in the same way (add mask options on each layer, select black Standard brushes ...). )。
